It's not a problem, it's a feature.  It doesn't get fixed until you
reinstall at least 3 times.

You can't modify a SIGINT -- it's an integral part of the underlying
system.  Perhaps it has something in it that "system" doesn't like...  You
know, "system" is like a hippo -- it's very particular about what it
likes.
