Does not work for me. Doing a

    $ ls //

still takes too long. And after pressing CTRL-C for several times,
there was an output of some hosts in our network. Pleas note that the
output didn't all come at once but after I've pressed CTRL-C several
times 10 seconds after its invocation.

$ ls //
ls: //ANXADI: Interrupted system call
ls: //BAROON: Interrupted system call
ls: //STING: Interrupted system call
ls: //RAMONEIR: Interrupted system call

The output of timing "ls //", pressing the CTRL-C after invocation is:

$ time ls //
ls: //ANXADI: Interrupted system call
ls: //BAROON: Interrupted system call
ls: //STING: Interrupted system call
ls: //RAMONEIR: Interrupted system call
AFATEN

real    0m27.150s
user    0m0.046s
sys     0m0.015s

Attached is cygcheck -svr

Thanks!

Best Regards,

Carlo
